At Key Stage 3 we aim to train pupils on lab safety as a priority. Pupils are also trained in a wide range of laboratory techniques involving use of glassware, use of chemicals, and equipment. Pupil’s enthusiasm and engagement in the scientific world is greatly encouraged through a practical investigations and problem solving challenges. During Key stage 3 we aim to raise the quality of pupils investigative writing throughout in preparation for the challenges in Key Stage 4.
