Spring Term - Come Fly with Me

Our topic this term is ‘Come Fly with Me’ and we are exploring the question ‘Where would you take a selfie?

Each class has chosen a different county to study and our students have chosen Mexico. The students are discovering all sorts of information about Mexico, including their history, food, culture and language.  We will be holding an immersion day at the end of he topic, where the students will give a presentation on all the things they have learned about Mexico, including cooking some Mexican food go the other classes to try!

We will also be continuing our options work as well as our maths, English and science qualifications.

Time Travel: Faster than the Speed of Light. 

For this half term the children have chosen subjects they have wanted to expand further.  They have chosen Geography or History, Arts Award or Food Technology, BTEC ICT or BTEC sports.

This term we will be studying all our Science work during a Science Week. We will be exploring; ‘Science and our universe’ and ‘The science of light and sound.’

Academic Year 2021 - 2022

In the autumn term Dosbarth Cerianne Scully had fun travelling to the Lost Worlds of the Mayan and Aztec civilisation, during the spring term we travelled into the multiverse and became Superheroes and then we splashed 'Into the Blue' to explore our oceans during the summer term.
