During Duke of Edinburgh Bronze all pupils take part in the 4 sections of Duke of Edinburgh.
These sections are the-
Physical section
In this section pupils have to improve fitness through long walks, gym work and sports.
Volunteering section
In this section pupils have to help the environment by picking litter on the beaches of Bridgend County.
Skills section
In this section Pupils worked hard to improve on either a table sport skills (Snooker, Pool) or improve on table games (Card games, Bored games)
Expedition section
In this section pupils have taken part in improving camping skills that includes tent work, cooking on Jetboil camping cookers and equipment checks for expeditions. Once competed many pupils have had the opportunity to do their expeditions in the Gower, Swansea. This involved 2 days of wilderness walking along the Gower coastal path and camping overnight.
