Autumn Term
Time Travel: Faster than the Speed of Light.
For this half term the children have chosen subjects they have wanted to expand further. They have chosen Geography or History, Arts Award or Food Technology, BTEC ICT or BTEC sports.
This term we will be studying all our Science work during a Science Week. We will be exploring; ‘Science and our universe’ and ‘The science of light and sound.’
Academic Year 2021-2022
In the autumn term we explored the rise and fall of Nazi Germany through our topic 'Achtung! Fake news' as part of the pupils' GCSE history qualification. During the spring term we studied the topic 'Heroes' where we identified real life heroes and people who our pupils had been inspired by. Finally in the summer term we plunged into our topic 'Ocean deep' where the pupils investigated the effects of plastics in our oceans and the implications this has on our environment and wildlife.
