Key Stage 4 will build on prior work done at Key Stages 2 and 3. Lessons will follow a similar format to other key stages and will tailored to meet specific needs. Lessons are taught in a way to address gaps in learning through differentiating a curriculum to meet individual need in such a way that pupils are given a strong foundation on which to build in order to ready themselves for accreditation such as through Agored or external qualification such as Entry Level and GCSE. The pupils at Key Stage four will use what they learn in more practical contexts as through work place partnerships and work experience in order to ready them for the world of work. Similarly at Key Stage 4 there will be intervention programmes in place to support learners with gaps in their learning such as discrete / individualised teaching or working in pairs with a specialist intervention teacher.
