Spanish

Pupils within KS3 study Spanish in cross-curricular themes in discrete lessons.

Food technology, games, ICT and animation are used as a stimulus for language, allowing pupils to develop their Spanish language skills in a risk free setting.

The children learn how to introduce themselves, talk about school, family, where they live, different foods they eat and much more. They will also learn about Spanish Culture; with a large focus on Spanish cooking.

Materials are designed by the school, with the purpose of making learning fun and enjoyable for the pupils.

In Years 7, 8 and 9 all pupils are assessed in the four Key Skills; Speaking, Reading, Writing and Listening.
